A little Food for Thought

A Message to the Haters

Now I know the NFL season has long been over now. But that does not stop me from asking the question "What happened to second chances?" I'm speaking of course about Tiger Woods, Michael Vick and Ben Roethlisberger. There are two things that all three of these superstar athletes have in common...They are great at what they do and they have made made mistakes in their personal lives. I am sure that by now everyone knows what they did and what their consequences have been. I'm not here to argue about what they did (I disapprove of what they did), I'm here to say that everyone deserves a second chance  With that said, fans have fallen into two 'pools'. The ones that have decided to forgive them for there actions and look at what they are NOW doing to make amends in their lives. And the ones that are still hating on them for their past actions and refuse to give each of them second chance. All I am saying is that Woods, Vick, and Roethlisberger have been becoming better people...and by the way, they are still elite athletes in their respective sports.
So to all of you haters out there, I encourage you to think about this... Nobody is perfect, no one will ever be perfect, so stop hating and enjoy watching them play their sports. Oh, I almost forgot...The answer is 'yes'. It is okay to cheer for them to win again.

The Resurgence of The Latham Report!

Good Evening Everyone!
I realize that there has been a lot going on over the past few weeks and even though I could recap all of them in one post. To be honest, I really do not want to. I figure that just going over old news would not make for an interesting blog discussion. So instead I am just going to move forward and let the past stay in the past.

So with that said, if you are wondering why I haven't been posting in 3 weeks. I will have you know that the reasons are mixed. One may think that I ran out of ideas, or that I just ran out time. And both are true...to an extent. Over the last few weeks I have been thinking about a number of things including the key question of "How do I make my blog appear on the top of YOUR favorites list?" With question needing to be answered I am going to let you know how I am going to make "The Latham Report" the #1 website on your browser. Ambitious? maybe. Smart? I think so.

Below I have listed a few words that describe my plan.

Entertaining: What is the point in reading if your not entertained. At this internet 'hot spot' you will be able to read about the latest jokes and internet sensations. Wait there is more! share with your friends via facebook, twitter, email, and word of mouth.

Enlightening: Prepare to have your mind blown!! In the up and coming weeks I will be creating posts that will make you think! It seems today that no one wants to think any more. Just look what happened in the 2008 presidential election. Terrible right! That is exactly why it is important to put in some thought provoking posts in between the mindless videos (still don't want to think? Try visualizing it as a mental workout. Still do not want to think? I cant help you just don't vote).

Informative: Use The Latham Report to take a break from all of the 'left wing' news papers and mainstream media outlets. I will be sure to give you unbiased news!

Phucking Smart!: You guessed it! The Latham Report is smart AND free of curse words!!

There you have it, that is how I am going to become #1. So add this site to your favorites and have a great rest of the night.
